They are one of my favorite flowers. They come in so many colors and can last a full two weeks in a vase of water. Your's look especially lovely and perfect for the holidays.
SOACM - yes, they always look good and,as you say, last a decent time.
The colour is gorgeous. Sue, just heard on the news of the earth tremors again in Christchurch - how awful for them. My thoughts are with them.
They are one of my favourites too. Always look good, whether in the ground or in a vase. and easy to grow (an important point for a lazy gardener like me.)
It's been a bit of a crazy week in our house SH, so this morning, Christmas Eve, is the first time I've been able to catch up with your posts! Looks like you have done a bang-up job prepping the house for Christmas...those plants are gorgeous. We spent a few years celebrating the holidays in south-east asia, so I understand Christmas in hot temperatures. We would crank up the air-conditioning just to be able to wear sweaters inside the house!I hope the spirit of Christmas shines down on you and yours this beautiful season. Happy Christmas!
Happy Christmas Susan. Clear and sunny here in Central Hawkes Bay but quite breezy and not exactly warm - but not cold enough for a fire!
