An Autumn Walk

We have had some good rain - Sunday 70 mls.  although some of it was a bit too heavy and just ran off.

Anyway, this morning was fine again when we walked Sophie.  I have a "new to me" camera - much lighter than my usual one and, when I used it on the Monday Parkinson's Walk, the pictures were not the best so I took it this morning after fiddling around with the flash.

The following is result.

  1. Susan, those photos are lovely, but specially the stream with trees on either side, I clicked on them so they are larger, and it is worthy of printing and framing. What camera do you have now? My Canon is really too big for taking on a walk, and now the smaller ones take wonderful photos. Some rain here too, lawns are so green again. Greetings from Jean

    1. My "new" camera is a Fujifilm Finepix Z10fd - my stepson was up at the weekend to visit Max and gave it to me. I gather he made it up out of several broken cameras. Glad you have had rain as well. Sue

    1. We get a lot more autumn colours here in Whangarei than we did when we lived in the Real Far North at Awanui!!!

  4. It always takes a bit of time to get used to a new gadget. The photos are lovely especially the fallen rust coloured leaves.

    1. I love autumn leaves and really missed them when we were in the Far North. I think I am getting there with the new camera.

    1. As mine was free and made up of bits from several cameras am not sure of its value. Looks like it is going to be good though.
