Parkinson's Walk to Whangarei Falls.

This is a walk we haven't done for a while and after the recent rain the falls were flowing well.

All the mist in the following photo is spray from the falls.  It was really quite wet even at a distance.

A vase of NSW Waratah's from Doug's garden - they are in a vase made by the brother of a friend.

  3. Susan, just in case you didn't see my reply to your comment on my blog: the carpet is SmartStrand, the style is Stone peak, colour is called All Natural. It's 100% synthetic, which threw me, having always been indoctrinated that wool is best, but this is amazingly stain and spill resistant. The link I gave on the blog will take you to a website which will show you all the many many styles and colours. Surprisingly reasonably priced, compared to wool.
