THE SUNROOM IS GETTING THERE

The painting finished, we phoned a carpet layer expecting a long wait but he came the very next day to lay the carpet.  The furniture has been moved in and we have started to gather books from storage for the book shelves.

There are still various pictures to assemble and the rest of the books and some items to display but we are pleased with the result so far.  The curtains are temporary and, once the rest of the lounge etc has been repainted, new ones will  be purchased.

In the bottom photo there is a cat in the basket on the settee.

  2. It is wonderful to have a room with lots of light. It is especially good during the long winter. It looks terrific, Susan.

    1. It has made such a difference. From a cold windy veranda to a warm, light, sunny room.

    1. To make it even better on Monday we requested a plumber install a water filter. He came at 8 a.m. Wednesday and installed a wonderful tap that has the cold water filtered. Great service. We also wanted a pane of glass replaced and he came the following morning and just wanted to charge for the glass not the time he spent.
