Parkinson's Walk to Whangarei Falls.

This is a walk we haven't done for a while and after the recent rain the falls were flowing well.

All the mist in the following photo is spray from the falls.  It was really quite wet even at a distance.

A vase of NSW Waratah's from Doug's garden - they are in a vase made by the brother of a friend.

  1. Spectacular. And so are the flowers.
    Love from Mum

  2. Beautiful pictures. The waterfall is spectacular. Love the flowers and the vase too. I like pottery

  3. Susan, just in case you didn't see my reply to your comment on my blog: the carpet is SmartStrand, the style is Stone peak, colour is called All Natural. It's 100% synthetic, which threw me, having always been indoctrinated that wool is best, but this is amazingly stain and spill resistant. The link I gave on the blog will take you to a website which will show you all the many many styles and colours. Surprisingly reasonably priced, compared to wool.

  4. Spectacular falls and spectacular flowers, Susan.

  5. those are beautiful photos!
    lovely flowers too!
