FLOWERS EVERYWHERE

It was Max' funeral this afternoon.  When the Funeral Director visited on Friday he said he was arranging a "small spray" of flowers for the casket.

The small spray consisted of a lot more flowers than I expected.

  1. Beautiful, and his hat, the secateurs, are they avocados? Alstromerias? And waratahs? You have been in my thoughts all day, and at the weekend. Lots of love.

    1. Yes, avocados and the small spray of flowers from my garden is alstroemerias and lavender. There were a surprising amount of flowers in the spray including five waratahs and I already had a vase of them from Doug's garden. Thank you for the kind thoughts.

I have been fine - I have done all my grieving over the past 4 1/2 years and just feel relief.

    1. Thank you. I am just pleased that he went like that peacefully in his sleep. Busy week this week but hopefully next week I will get some rest.
