The letterbox that was here when we bought was never very marvellous. Doug has just built me a new one and installed it to-day.
Plenty of space for papers and parcels.
The old one
and "trumpet call" the new one
We, or rather Doug, still has to put the home security sign back up and do some touch up painting including painting the white pipe ebony but I am thrilled with it. Isn't he clever.
Trés chic. Ours is a nondescript green metal standard French official job.
ReplyDeleteand it has just received its first newspaper.
DeleteLovely, super design and great colour, nice to know it has been used so soon after being in place. Cheers from Jean

Looks brilliant
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed. We had to switch back to a mail slot in the wall because we receive such a large amount of mail each and every day. It just drops into a large bin in the coat closet next to the front door.
ReplyDeleteHere in New Zealand mail is delivered to the gate not down the drive to the house. These days, with email, I don't get much snail mail except for junk mail and the newspapers.
DeleteThat is very stylish and well-made. He could go into business making those. :-)
