BLACKBIRD BATHING

From our kitchen window we look out at a birdbath.  Doug just noticed this happy blackbird having a bath.

  1. Love the bath set in it's own table, I have a deeper blue( in colour) bowl, and think instead of being inside, might get Hugh to make a strand for it.Far better for the birds to enjoy it. Doug, can I borrow your idea, hope you agree.

    1. The birds love it. The netting behind was to stop the cats.

  2. Just look at that bird. He's having a good wash there and probably a bit of fun.

  4. We have a bird bath too and also enjoy watching the birds use it. However, when the pigeons call they splash so much that I end up having to refill it.

  6. A Joyful picture! I have a small bird bath near my front porch but I have not seen a blackbird there, mostly cardinals.

    1. No
Cardinals here. They would provide a lovely splash of colour.

  7. Fun pictures! The bird really seems to be having a good time. I don't have a bird bath in my yard, perhaps I'll get one. Though would not want to encourage The BlackBirds, as we too many of them. Will have to see what other birds like them.
