Further around, the boats looked good in the sunshine with the Hundertwasser dome in the background.
The whole walk is 4.2 kms.
When we got home I noticed some Monarch caterpillars so collected them to put in the cage. Not sure how many I ended up with but a lot. This is just a few of them. (This week we have been having our coldest weather so far this winter. Down to 4°C in the mornings.)
That's a beautiful marina. In Brighton they built ours miles out of town; they should have built it in the middle where it would have become the hub of the town.
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame. Ours is nice and handy.
DeleteA lovely place for a walk
ReplyDeleteAnd a well used path
DeleteI'm surprised you still have caterpillars. I'm sure all ours have disappeared now, with the cold and the wet, although I still do see the occasional monarch floating by when the sun shines.
ReplyDeleteWe were really surprised to find them. There would have been a dozen at least.
DeleteWhat a beautiful-looking day for your walk.
ReplyDeleteEven though the weather has been shocking this year we have been lucky on Monday's for our Parkinson's walks except this week when we cancelled due to rain and a strong wind warning.
