THE DRIVE 2

These photos were taken last night

They had not been working for long this morning when the rain started.  Luckily, it has now stopped and they are busy working again.  Unfortunately, there is a warning for thunderstorms with heavy downpours tonight so fingers crossed that we miss the worst of it.  The concrete is planned to go down tomorrow.

Doug had a hand physio appointment this afternoon.  She was very pleased with it.  He doesn't need any covering now apart from a small "sleeve" to wear if he is working in his workshop.  He was so lucky not to hit bone or a tendon.  It is just under five weeks since the accident.

  1. Hoping the rain will not happen. Looks great. After years with metal drives, either flat or up a steep slope, our concrete driveway and turnaround part is wonderful.

    1. Unfortunately, we don't have a turnaround part. We are currently parking at a neighbour's and can turn around which is good.

  2. I hope that you don't get heavy rain...we had that and gales last night. That looks like tidy work and it would be sad to see it spoiled.
Doug's hand is tidy work too! That is healing nicely

    1. They just repeated the warning on the News. Fingers crossed we don't get the worst. I can hear the rain just starting now. Doug heals well. Must be all the healthy food. ,:)

  3. Good that Doug's hand is healing so well. My fingers are crossed that the rain stays away from your drive!
