ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER

A few weeks ago Doug suggested that we could do with a few of our kitchen cupboard doors replaced.  We looked up various companies and Kamo Kitchens came around.  They had the match for the board but we also asked for a quote to replace all the doors and decided this was the better option so they came back with colour samples.

This morning they were here at 8 a.m. and removed all the old doors taking them back to the workshop to drill the holes for the new ones.  It is now 1.35 p.m. and they have just come back and are installing the new doors.  Unfortunately,  they were not able to get enough of the new handles we chose so some of the old handles are going up. The new ones imported from Austria and should be here in September.

This morning after the cupboard doors had been taken away.

and now at 3 p.m. All finished and we are very pleased with the result.

  1. Your kitchen makes ours look a terrible mess.

    1. Yes, it was all very quick. Initially they were so fast measuring up that Doug thought they hadn't measured yet. There was a wait for the panels that were ordered in but then it was just a short day getting them fitted.

  3. I so envy all those kitchens with decent drawers and a proper larder cupboard! It does look nice

    1. This is an amazingly large kitchen for the size of the house and, as you say, plenty of large drawers and cupboards.

  4. That looks amazing, I didn't know you could have that done, it inspires me to think about doing something here. Love the new colour.

    1. It is a bit darker but has a much warmer feel. The main advantage is that the new doors are much better quality. Obviously new techniques since the old ones were made about 16 years ago. Thoroughly recommend it and, if you were nearby I would recommend Kamo Kitchens,
