Autumn

Daylight savings ended last night and it was good not waking in the dark this morning.  We took Sophie for her walk around the park and the leaves are starting to change colour.  Yesterday, when we did this walk we had trouble getting parking as the Soccer season had started and the fields were full of children and their parents.

Will try and get a photo of that next week.

      That eucalyptus is magnificient isn't it. We have watched it gradually losing its bark.

    I was in the BACH today so had to surface from my warm comfy bed to get ready to open up shop. Yes, autumn is definitely here!

    Autumn is such a beautiful time to enjoy nature. Hope you have good weather to appreciate it all.

      Yes, wonderful weather, in fact the whole of summer has been fine and warm. Could do with much needed rain though.

    Susan, I always look forward to your photos. I do not like it dark in the mornings.. I am very happy to be on the time we are in at this moment, but then again that is because I am out with the dogs early morning and after 8 each night. I do LOVE a nice dry Fall.

      Autumn, or Fall, came very suddenly. The weather is just marvellous unless you are a farmer (or gardener) in need of moisture

    brr was jolly cold here, not long and it will be time to pick up all the leaves - I quite enjoy doing this.

      Have started lighting the "pot belly stove" in the mornings. Extra warmth and it heats the water.

    I love seeing the changing seasons in both hemispheres - it gives such a different perspective seeing you prepare for Autumn and Winter, yet knowing we will be heading there before we know it. Stay cosy xx
