SCULPTUREUM
Sculptureum is a word made up of sculpture and museum and is a collection of works put together in Matakana. We went down on a bus trip and had a wonderful time.The owner has been a collector for a lifetime and finally bought a vineyard and has set this up on part of it. First of all one wanders through an outdoor area. Here is a sample.

What a very cool place! That black lion looks angry and about to pounce. We have a Garden of Sculpture not too far away and it is one of my favorite places to visit.

DeleteI particularly like the bronze Lion; he could live in my garden any day!
ReplyDeleteI liked all the bronzes especially the girl sitting with the butterfly on her hand (made by her father) and the boy pushing the girl on the swing.

ReplyDeleteThat is a very small part of it. I will be posting more. Apparently he has two large sheds full of items to be displayed in future.
