READY FOR THE PAINTING.
There has been a lot of work by Doug to get the sun room ready to start painting. The power plugs have been installed and finally it is ready. Then it will be time for us to get the carpet that he bought in 2008 out of its storage in the garage to check that it has survived without being eaten by some chewing insect. We will then buy some underlay and arrange for a carpet layer. It will then be time to sort out what furniture will fit where. It is a long narrow room but has made such a difference already as, instead of being a cold windswept deck it is now a sunny room.

It's looking good. Well done Doug!
ReplyDeleteHe has just given the ceiling its first coat.
DeleteDitto, well done, So handy to have a handyman right on tap, so to speak. Maybe he does plumbing too.
ReplyDeleteNo, he doesn't do the plumbing and we had an electrician in to do the electrical work. Sorry if I made it sound as if he had done it.
DeleteExcellent! It should be a lovely place to sit and relax.
ReplyDeleteNice and warm at this time of year.
DeleteLucky you have such a handy man, it could be a perfect office or study area.
ReplyDeleteOur idea is a sunroom/reading room.
DeleteWill look so nice when it's all done. I love a sunny room in the winter months especially.
ReplyDeleteJust got the carpet down. Reveal soon.
