On Monday we met at Onerahi and car-pooled to Pataua South. There were only 7 of us. The forecast had been for rain but it was fine although there was a strong wind.
We walked across the footbridge to Pataua North and had a pleasant walk before returning to our cars and having a picnic lunch.
Our next walk is not until the last Monday in January.
WhAt a pretty day to take a walk.
ReplyDeleteIt was delightful
DeleteBeautiful coastline..... and no-one there. Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThere will be people on the beaches come Christmas but nothing like other parts of the world.
DeleteOur friend that we stay with in Blenheim has just been diagnosed with early stage Parkinsons...riding his bike is helping
ReplyDeleteI think any exercise is good. The extra good point with the walking group is that the men in particular get to talk among themselves about their symptoms and meds. This is great as men generally don't tend to do this.
DeleteSimply beautiful scenery, and like Cro said, not many people, perfect.
