Whangarei Quarry Gardens

This morning we had an enjoyable walk in the Whangarei Quarry Gardens with the people with Parkinsons Disease group.

    What a lovely place to visit, love the wooden pagoda? a bit like a bridge that goes to the wall.

    I think it is something to do with the old quarry - concrete sides with timber on top. Even though I have been there many times I don't recall seeing that before. I thought it looked delightful.

    The pictures are beautiful. Is that a Yucca in the top picture? It looks stunning.

      Hi Molly, I think it is a type of bromeliad but may be wrong.
