Sculpture Judging

We went to the final announcement of the Winners

This one won the main award and was purchased by the Whangarei District Council and will be installed somewhere on the Hihiaua Peninsula



This piece won the Te Aue Marie award and will be installed at the new Kerikeri Airport.  It also won the People's Choice Award.

      It is a lovely area alongside the river where they are displayed. If you come to Whangarei in your upcoming trip it is a lovely walk or bike ride.

      When it is put on display I must take some photos of several of them. I did a few years ago.

    Both are really interesting, but the top sculpture is amazing.
