WING RIB OF BEEF

Vegetarians read no further.

When we went to the Supermarket on Tuesday I was surprised to see a joint I have not seen for a long time, a Wing Rib of Beef, and it was on special so it came home with us.  It was a good sized roast and was in the oven on Wednesday and it was delicious.




Lots of roast vegetables and we barely touched the joint.   We had it again yesterday and today and I doubt if we have eaten half of it yet so some will be frozen and a cottage pie made as well.  Great value.

    I can't remember when I last had roast Beef. It is wildly expensive here, and I can only just afford stewing Beef for an occasional winter casserole. Yours looks delicious.

    I've never seen that cut of beef before. Looks delicious but I'd be eating all the vegetables first too.

    We occasionally buy either a chicken or pork roast, apparently New World is having huge specials on Chicken at the moment. Can't beat it over Winter.

      This was from New World. I think they have all meat on special at present. This was very tasty and tender and a very good deal.
