FOXGLOVES AND WIND

A dull overcast, windy day here today.  No rain but that is forecast for tomorrow.  We will see.  Foxgloves have self seeded all over the garden but they do not like wind so I have just picked a few that had blown over.

Meanwhile the ones left in the garden are getting a hammering along with the roses.

  1. Looking lovely despite the wind!
We have been rather windswept and sodden here

    1. We are having far more wind and rain than usual and it is forecast for the next ten days.

  2. Your foxgloves are beautiful. I've never grown them as a garden flower, but have often lived with them growing wild (they especially seem to love old apple orchards). Hamilton Gardens have a lovely group of them growing under some trees, quite spectacular.

  3. I also love foxgloves and luckily ours too have seeded themselves all over the garden. Roll on next Spring.

  5. Your flowers look so good. My daisies have really taken off but I am having a wee bit of bother trying to get one of my roses to grow.
