Wild guess - a type of magnolia, streptocarpus, violet, camellia and narcissus - they're gorgeous! We've just had a real good old shower of rain here - it does feel as if Autumn is just around the corner - some of the apples are ready and we have shoals of tomatoes.
The second one is actually a white freesia but you are right on the rest Molly. I took the photos on Sunday afternoon and further south they had winds of 120 kms and snow. The year is going far too fast.
Wow! You have a lot more out than i do, but you are a lot further North than I am. I only have a few erlicheers out but daffs can't be too far away. Lots of bud on the magnolias, and the camellias have been blooming for a week or so.
Judith, yes it would be a lot warmer up here. We haven't had a frost in the two years we have been here having moved down from the Far North. We also have Rhododendrons, orchids and hyacinths out in the garden.
You have your spring to look forward to, we have the miserable winter. Today is a good taster of what is to come. Dark, rain, low cloud, not good. Was it a flower naming competition, I didn't see anything on my page? Briony x
I can name two of them.... do I win a prize?
ReplyDeleteYou have me wondering which two. Could do with some of your glut of fruit right now.
ReplyDeleteThe last two!
