No, collecting driftwood. Unfortunately, there was a ban on taking shellfish due to some virus? or suchlike. Just before we left Whangarei we went to the Sculpture Symposium and saw a wonderful eagle made from driftwood so Doug was looking for suitable pieces for something smaller.
An empty beach is a beautiful sight to see.
