GARDEN SAFARI DAY 2

This was the first and most impressive garden yesterday.  It was a bare paddock 20 years ago and even the palm trees had been grown from seed.

As we were leaving we spotted their dog being very patient.

We did go to some more gardens but the promised rain came so no more photos.

  1. That is so beautiful and peaceful.....and green! It must have taken a lot of dedicated work. The palms are magnificent

    1. It was one of our three favourite gardens out of 22. We were amazed that the palms had been grown from seed in twenty years. They had a digger to dig the pond and a track and said they would rather spend their money on that than on going out for coffee. A delightful couple who put so much work into their garden.

    1. There was a short shower and we sat on their seat on the veranda looking down at the lake. It is the spot they have their evening glass of wine.

  5. The Gardens look lush and lovely. We've nothing like that here, but I wish we did!

  6. That looks so wonderfully exotic and warm, just what my eyes need to see after a very dull, dismal, damp and very cold day.
