A FOGGY START TO THE DAY

We had a slightly later start than usual for a Saturday morning but I was surprised on opening the curtains to find a heavy fog. 




As usual we went to the Growers Market  followed by walking Sophie at the Town Basin.




Then we did our weekly supermarket shop and by the time we returned home the fog had lifted and it was a lovely sunny day.,

    Those foggy photos have a beauty of their own. Even better though when the sun comes out!

      I think fog always adds an extra dimension to photos.

    Strange, we've had no fog here whatsoever, just overcast sort of sunny days although today it's raining - perfect for hibernating.

      I noticed on last night's news that Auckland Airport was closed because of fog yesterday morning. We have rain today as well. Pretty miserable outside.

    An hour ago I took Billy out for his first pee, and found a similar scene. I hope it lifts to leave a nice sunny day.
