RIPE TOMATOES AT LAST

Last night, I finally had a reasonable pick of tomatoes.  With a bit of luck they will keep on producing in spite of the hot, humid weather.

In the flower garden one of the Crepe Myrtles is getting a bit past  it

while the other is just coming into flower.

Temperatures in the very late 20's most likely going to be 30 in the next couple of days.

  1. Lovely Toms! We're expecting very strong stormy winds tonight. I hope the roof stays in place!

  2. Wonderful to see those luscious tomatoes. Our garden has some spindly lettuces and slow developing cauliflower.

    1. Yes, I am sure they are late this year but then I think I planted late because of the weather.

    1. A bit too much for me - 28 degrees with 98% humidity. It is the humidity that is the main problem.

    1. Yes, we have been living off fresh beans for a while now as well as giving to neighbours.
