Because of the forecast heat we did another walk through the bush alongside the river today. Just before we started there was a lovely shower freshening up the ferns and other plants.
According to my magic machine the temperature is 28 degrees C. with a real feel of 30 degrees, much better than where my step-daughter lives in N.S.W. where it was 31 degrees at 10 p.m. last night and 33 a couple of hours earlier.
We were supposed to have nasty stormy weather last night, but it didn't happen. I think they were really battered up north.
ReplyDeleteThat will be a relief for you.
ReplyDeleteA lovely place for a walk on a hot day
ReplyDeletePerfect.
DeleteLovely variations of green!
ReplyDeleteThe highest wind gust here was over by the M8 motorway in Lanarkshire, nearly 90mph...surprising as I would expect that to be further North. We are still under a weather warning today and are advised not to travel. Wet and windy forecast all week
Yes, there are so many different ferns, all a slightly different green. It looks as though you now have a second storm there.
DeleteI must correct that...124mph gust over the Cairngorms
ReplyDeleteThat is strong. Even in kms it would be strong.
DeleteGorgeous greenery. I'd have trouble walking in the heat, were I there.
ReplyDeleteI do as well, hence the bush walk. A bit cooler.
Deleteoh I do like bush walks, the atmosphere is so calming and peaceful, there's something about greenery that works for me.
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat a bush walk especially in hot weather. I don't know why your comments keep going to spam.
