Yes, I am so used to the giant sundial that I didn't even think to mention it. The brass plaques for the hours are moved twice a year for daylight savings.
There is a similar rock a bit further over with a plaque saying who donated it from their property.
That is one good thing I always find about blogging - although we do not get winters as you know them it is always good to see photos of spring/summer as we head to autumn/winter.
The rocks are nice, and I also like the idea of a giant sundial.

All those lovely flowers. It was freezing here last night and today. Can't wait for the spring to come.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely aren't they. Hope your firewood is lasting and you are keeping warm and dry.
ReplyDeleteWith the grey winter here and a foot or two of snow expected this weekend, it is pleasant to look at your pictures of the colorful flowers.

DeleteThose flower beds look so colourful - just what we need in the middle of winter instead of brown mud.
ReplyDeleteJust blue Salvia, red geranium (or pelargonium) and yellow marigolds (I think) yet they make a great display.
DeleteLovely flowerbeds and so colourful to look at on this grey winter's day.
