We had a half barrel and one of his grandsons brought some plastic wrap around for him and he made a target.
The half barrel is tightly packed with the plastic wrap then covered with either hessian or, in this case, a piece of tarpaulin as that is what we had available.

Not bad after not having used his bow for a while.
Great target, and such good sighting for the arrows to strike in that circle of 9's and a 10 or two!!!
