We went with a friend and were lucky with the weather which was fine and not too hot. It is a lovely setting and we arrived at about 10.20 a.m. and set off to walk around the farm park.
As you can see it is a large area. It took us an hour walking until we came across a bench beckoning us to sit and have our lunch looking down at this view.
More to come.
You get to see so many wonderful things on your walks.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are so lucky here.
DeleteHuge sculptures and what a view.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful. A great day out.
DeleteWow, what a lovely walk!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was great.
DeleteDo they charge an entrance fee? I imagine that those works cost a fortune. Maybe the owner is extremely rich!
ReplyDeleteNo entrance fee is charged and it is only open on certain days. I think usually once a month although there are a few between now and the end of the year but all fully booked. It is very hard to get in to and we actually bought tickets through a charity that had a block of tickets for a fundraiser.
DeleteIf you click on the link it tells you quite a lot about the farm and artworks.
That is a walk I would love to take. Breathtakingly beautiful -and witty. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYes, Elaine, it was a lovely day and just an hour and a half from home.
