The temperature has dropped to a high of 23 degrees today and we had some very good rain showers with more forecast for tomorrow. Wonderful. There is nothing like rain to get the garden growing.
We have just planted more plants so it was perfect timing. I even sowed a few bean seeds today.
We had rain this morning too. Still had a ride this afternoon!!
ReplyDeleteIt cleared for a while in the afternoon and was clear this morning although we have just had a couple more showers.
DeleteThat sounds like perfect weather. Bet you see the grass growing overnight!
ReplyDeleteThe grass is definitely growing.
DeleteLucky you, I wish we could have some rain, just gloomy and overcast each day, I really do not like this time of year although I have seena few daffs out already

I seem to remember plenty of winter rain in England. Good that the daffs are starting to bloom.
DeleteThere is nothing like a summer rain, especially after days/weeks of hot, very sunny days.
ReplyDeleteThat is for real. It freshens everything up. It has b been lovely and cool but is forecast to be back up to 28 degrees at the weekend.
DeleteWe had rain yesterday and last night and it was so cool!!! Almost felt cold after the stiflingly hot days. The garden looks so good with clean dark potting mix and greenery and flowers.
ReplyDeleteAs you say, it seemed cold last night. Lovely, cooler, day today with a couple of showers this evening. You have, obviously, been working hard on your new garden.
DeleteI am not a fan of rain, but we get it only in winter, and even then, not in adequate quantity, so I'll say nothing bad of rain. Even if these are heavy rains, like those in the last few days.
ReplyDeleteI have never lived in a climate like yours.
