We were surprised at just how dry it is so hope we get some rain overnight. We are now both pleasantly tired.

GARDENING
Although the forecast was not the best and it started with a few silly showers (enough to be annoying but not enough to do any good) we have had a beautiful day and have managed to give the flower bed alongside the drive its first weed since winter.
The cinerarias are a lovely splash of colour
and the foxgloves are just starting to flower.

We, of course, are going in the opposite direction and carpets of leaves are everywhere.

DeleteWe got some rain last night and this morning, I think it we get that in bits and pieces over Summer we will be ok this year
ReplyDeleteYes, the forecast seems to be for a wetter summer. We had a bit last night and our new tank overflowed. Lighter rain today but the wind is quite strong. I have not been outside.
