SOME RAIN AND A LOT COOLER

Thank goodness we did our weeding alongside the drive yesterday as it rained overnight and has continued with showers during the day and is a lot cooler.  I have barely been outside and have concentrated on baking, stewing apples etc.

I know a lot of people were interested when I recently posted about Orca and thought some of you may be interested in this - It is about an orca stranding in our harbour noticed by a man who commutes to work by boat across the harbour.  The orca here are kept track of and many of them are named.

I have tried the link and it works so hope it works for you.  The orca in question is Funky Monkey.

      I am sure it did. As it says, they go up and down the coast here.

    I have read that Orcas can live a very long time. How amazing to have local Orca that are known to folk.
