We are still in Alert Level 4 Lockdown (the highest level). Yesterday it was announced that all New Zealand except Auckland north which includes us will go down to Level 3 at midnight on Tuesday. As far as Auckland and Northland (us) are concerned it will be reviewed again on Monday.
We are quite happy in Lockdown and the only problems have been Doug's Doctor's appointment for his drivers' licence medical which has now been cancelled twice and his appointment for his dental plate as he lost a tooth from it several weeks ago and is wearing an old plate. Next week the only appointment is for the car to have a service but we are not worried about that being postponed.
So we stay home except for our daily walk around the streets and today the Teddy Bears had a new conversation.
We are trying to keep up with exercise - I know I am not doing as much as last Lockdown. We do that that daily walk and I do my morning sit-ups as well as a few stretch exercises.
The Bears get the best prize. Love the words, and their outfits. Monday is our first vaccination date, and we go to Whanganui, with the WDHB site in Victoria Avenue, so have my phone with the reminder all handy in case we get stopped on the way. No rain here yet, but grey skies.
ReplyDeleteWe have had steady rain most of the day but not the predicted thunder. Good luck with the vaccinations.
DeleteI hope those bears are also able to get out for a little local exercise.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to meet them on our walk. It is a friend's birthday today and I sent her an e-card of the Teddy Bears' Picnic.
DeleteThose Teddy Bears took me back to when out kids were young. I used to write words and stick them on the bears mouth with sellotape so that when they went to bed the bear was waiting for them. I loved my time of bringing up a family and would love to go over it all again.
