On today's walk I noticed that the Teddy Bears' conversation had just been updated (I happened to see someone leaving the caravan).
The last comment about spreading legs comes from a slip-up by Minister Chris Hipkins who told people to "spread" their legs instead of "stretch" their legs on the Covid Update the other day.
I have not been gardening because of the cold wind but today when we got home it had eased so I did some weeding and noticed a sign of spring - the N.S.W. Waratahs are showing their colour and should soon be in flower.
Love the Teddy Bear messages. A few more positive results today, just slightly up from yesterday, but to put it in contrast, Alaska has a population of about 740,000 and one day this week they had 134 in hospital, 27 on ventilators, and 5 deaths. (The details from a friend who lives about 160 km from Anchorage )So our 68 with the team of 5 million seems to be so small in comparison, and weather, cold, freezing or slightly warm doesn't matter, evidently.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. I think it will stay the same.
DeleteGood to see a bit of humour around.
ReplyDeletePlenty of that.
DeleteThose Teddy Bears seem to know exactly what's going on just by looking out of the window.
ReplyDeleteThey are right up to date.
DeleteLovely that the conversation is ongoing.
ReplyDeleteI heard about the Ministers slip but didn't realise exactly what they said. Hilarious. All of NZ must have had a laugh!
He said that we should socially distance while spreading our legs. Yes, plenty of laughs and mugs made.
DeleteIt is good to see that someone plus their teddies have such a good sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteYes, Rosemary, it makes our morning walk that much more interesting.
DeleteWe haven't seen many teddy bears up here this time but the comment Chris made was hilarious, think we all needed some humour.
ReplyDeleteand he realised straight away that he would get ribbed about it.
