How many do you breed? It's a really lovely idea.
Over 300 a year although we didn't count this year. We put the caterpillars in the cage to save them from wasps.

It does save a lot of butterflies.
They are magnificent butterflies, though sadly one which we don't see here. I'm jealous!

Yes, they are still emerging. Getting a bit cooler now although we had them right through last winter.
It's good they are still coming out there, it's way too cold here for them right now.
There are still a lot of caterpillars in the cage. Fingers crossed.
