BIRD FEEDERS

Doug's eldest daughter who has recently moved up here and now lives just around the corner asked her Dad to make her some bird feeders.  This is the result.

It only took a day for the birds to start using them.

  1. Nothing so fancy for ours, just a few grease balls and a seed container hanging in the fruit trees.

  2. And what a great job he did. Those birds will be dining in grand style. Be sure to send us some pictures of the feeders in use.

    1. I will ask her to take some photos - apparently there were 6 Tuis feeding at the sugar syrup feeder.

  3. Great way of re-cycling old wine bottles and an excellent piece of work. It's amazing how quickly birds will discover any new source of food.

  6. Very clever! I'd have bird feeders here but I wonder how the cat would act.

    1. I haven't had trouble with my own cats only with neighbouring cats.
