A VISITOR

As I went into the garden just before lunch a visitor flew down to see our "generic" Seagull.  Just a young bird who was hungry.  It sat with its mouth open wanting to be fed.  Doug gave it some dog sausage which disappeared quickly.

LATER; he/she came back again for supper.

  1. Haha, maybe from a distance it looked like a friend.

    1. I saw it fly down and it definitely went down to the seagull.

  2. How strange. You would think it would be able to tell the bird was not real. It must have been really hungry. You might have a new pet on your hands there, if you keep feeding it. I love seagulls :)

  3. I suspect that it might have been pure coincidence that the decorative gull was there. Reminds me of people putting out plastic owls to deter gulls and then you see the gulls perched right on the decoy.

    1. Possibly although it did seem to spy the other "bird" and go straight to it wanting food.

  4. You've got the start of a flock there. Better get in a supply of sausages lol

    1. We've already got a flock of seagulls and one of doves plus other odds and ends.
