LIBRARY

Yesterday, we called in to the library while in town and I noticed the Jacaranda in full bloom and the nearby gardens.

  1. Very pretty. When the weather's good I'd rather look at flowers than books, and both are better than sitting in front of a TV.

    1. I am with you on that. We usually watch the news although when it gets hotter I think we will be giving that a miss.

  2. Jacaranda, we had one on our acre at Katikati, it was so beautiful, They are the most graceful tree and thrive in the warmer areas.

  3. There's something very 'special' about municipal gardening. Lovely Jacaranda.

  4. The Jacaranda is especially lovely. New Zealand has been in the news here for all the wrong reasons recently. The earth can still deliver a knockout punch.

    1. Yes, the White Island disaster is shocking. At least they have retrieved most of the bodies today.

  5. Jacarandas are so beautiful, and I even love seeing them when all the flowers drop and make that gorgeous purple carpet on the ground.

  7. This is quite beautiful. I was guessing you must live far from me. It's cold here! :) Now I see...New Zealand. Wow!
