Anyway down at the Town Basin the gardens are looking good
including the garden around the large sundial
the pohutakawa (also know as New Zealand Christmas tree) are in bloom.
the Christmas tree has been erected and decorated
more gardens
and the roundabout (I really need a drone to photograph this. There are several roundabouts here with a boat as part of their decoration).
As the saying goes - WHANGAREI, LOVE IT HERE.
More municipal gardening; it always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteLovely public gardens down here too.
ReplyDeleteI think lovely gardens make a difference to ones quality of life.

ReplyDeleteYes, the planting is always so precise.
DeleteBeautiful as ever
ReplyDeleteI doubt if you got to see any here as you went through.
DeleteThey certainly brighten the place up. Many of the roundabouts here have gardens sponsored by local companies.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds a great idea.
DeleteThat beautifully decorated tree is certainly worth a look!
ReplyDeleteYes, I got a surprise as I hadn't realised it had been put up yet.
