I have mentioned previously the seagull we call "No Feet". Just after lunch Doug went outside and "No Feet" came flying around him so Doug did as was expected and came inside for some seagull food.
Here are the photos I took. You can see "her" stumps. She/he has been coming for about 7 years.
'No Feet' seems to be living well, all things considered!
ReplyDeleteIt was usually Pigeons in Brighton that had no feet. Someone told me it was from landing on electricity wires, but I'm not sure that's right. There were lots of them.
ReplyDeletePoor old thing! It's doing well to have survived so long in that condition.
ReplyDeleteCro, pigeons used to lose their feet to bird lime..possibly illegal now.
ReplyDeleteNo Feet is certainly a survivor!
Wow, he has visited you for seven years. That is really special.
ReplyDeleteI always find it amazing how nature adapts to adversity, and seeing this seagull continue on despite its handicap is quite incredible.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how she lost it, a cat maybe, who knows but it looks like she is managing just fine.
