CITRUS

It is citrus season and I just picked a few Lemons and Mandarins.
It is also a sunny day and quite warm out of the wind so I have been busy weeding one of the vegetable gardens.  Not quite finished but good to get most of it done anyway.

  1. That is one of the (many!) things I miss about NZ..fresh citrus...and sweet lemons and grapefruit

    1. Yes, you can't beat picking them off your own tree.

  2. I've never cared particularly for citrus fruits; probably just as well as all ours are imported. Unfortunately, although citrus trees don't like our climate, the weeds are very fond of it and are thriving!

    1. With our mild winter and all the rain the weeds are rocketing away.

  3. Ah, lovely citrus. A friend of mine shared some of her backyard bounty recently.

    1. Growing up in England we didn't have citrus growing so it is great to be able to pick it from the garden.
