THE VEGIE GARDEN AND BOBBY

The summer vegetable garden is coming on well.

The first lot of climbing beans are coming on.  (Jean yours are just coming up).

I have been picking dwarf beans

The first tomatoes are growing well

and it won't be long before we can eat this broccoli

The beetroot are flourishing and carrot seedlings coming on behind them

Last night Bobby came inside and squeezed in between Doug and me while we watched some T.V.

  1. Your broccoli plant looks so pretty as it grows. The silvery quality of the leaves is really something.

I think Bobby likes you two, eh? :D

    1. Yes, the broccoli does have a silver tinge - not sure why. Bobby has really made himself at home.

  2. Looks like you have a new Cat. The Veg' patch looks good, those Broccoli heads look like the one's I grow. The one's in the shops are the size of Caulis.... they must inject them with something!

    1. The broccoli has been growing very fast. I think it will grow a bit more before I pick it but not like those huge ones.

    1. We are pleased with the garden. Bobby has been living next door or thereabouts for a while but has only just ventured here but has made himself at home.

  6. Funny that we are growing broccoli now as it gets colder and you are growing it as it gets hotter.
Our beans are over. A summer vege in both places. Your garden is so organised . And a very good producer

    1. I don't usually have broccoli at this time of year but after Lockdown I saw a punnet of good looking plants so bought them. They will get used - we recently enjoyed the Italian broccoli that I grew.

    1. Yes, Bobby has really made himself at home. I was late putting the first beans in because of the weather. Still the dwarf ones are producing. Yours are coming up well.

Great to see Bobby has adopted you :)
