A couple of weeks ago I came across an advert for this whisk. Apparently, it is good for mixing dough but also for batters, cake mixes etc. It arrived late yesterday and I am looking forward to trying it. Has anyone else got one of these? (I see the company sold out).
LATER:
A neighbour just gave us some mussels so Doug made some fritters and said the new tool worked very well.
looks so nifty, let us know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteI will I see that, although it is a Danish whisk, it is made in Poland. Had some wuit good showers todsy. It sounds as though Auckland has a worse water problem than ours.
Deletesee above - worked well
DeleteI think that we already have mire whisks than we need!
ReplyDeleteWe may as well but this one seems better than most.
DeleteI use a flat whisk for batters, so similar.
ReplyDeleteA slotted spoon does better for cake mixes here, beating or mixing...saves washing up!
Never thought of a slotted spoon for cakes - must try (or use this new one).
DeleteBoth look mighty. I've never heard of the whisk but am definitely going to investigate.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to trying it.
Deletei haven't tried one of those but Mussell fritters are the best, the other half doesn't like them, I don't get that.
ReplyDeleteAny fritters are good.
DeleteMussel fritters - yum!
ReplyDeleteThey were good and some left for tonight's meal, even better.
